The Obnoxious Owl Experience: 8 days a week

Last week was shit. The end. Null and void.  Nah ah.  There were a few highlights though...not many but hey, not every day can be wonderful now can it?

Imma start with my nails, because they really are a little ray of sunshine in the life of the Owl...

I am so loving this colour way.  Neon pink is like my most fave colour ever.  I have big plans for this colour in my life and my nails are part of that.  I added some powder blue to tone it down a smidge...yeah a smidge.  The inspiration for these came from literally seeing the bottles of varnish on a shelf all together. Wish I could be more interesting but sadly, it's just not the case.
THIS is an outfit highlight ...

My Nan bought me this tshirt when I was visiting her in Liverpool earlier on in the year.  It cost a quid and is covered in sequin chocolate, candy and popcorn.  And yes and I did a DIY bling thing to my phone.  The jacket is a thrift store purchase...a parachute material thinga ma bob and the jeans are Sportsgirl of all places. I think I was wearing lime green air max...can't remember.  Well I hope I was, 'cause thats what woulda gone best with this.

I LOVE them.  Not telling you where they from because they're hella cheap and I don't want you to have the same as me. There. I said it.  I have a lot of earrings, but these are my fave...

These are the ones I have on rotation.  The big gold woven ones are by Cubannie Links which I copped from DirtyRich  and my pink babies I copped from the WAH salon in London when I got my nails did.  They're a one off though so na na na na naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahaha.

The other day my Mum was sorting out the attic and found a box full of my old high school paraphernalia...and she found this trophy ...

Yes it has my name on it.  It was a floating trophy that my school named after me...I was the leader of the drum majorette team.  No lie.  It was passed down to people who did well as a majorette blah blah so I nicked it when I left Year 12.  Wish I didn't now...would have been nice to have a 'lil legacy back in Rape Town.
