The Obnoxious Owl Experience: Its all a blur

I'm fooling myself and leading you astray when I say this is a week in pictures because it's NOT. It's just when I've kind of stored enough crap on my phone that warrants unleashing. Speaking of my phone...I dropped it in the toilet. It died for 24 hours, then it worked again for 2 days then it died good and proper on the weekend. So I am phoneless. I am also manless. And moneyless. And to top it all off, because of this heat wave we are experiencing I am constantly oily and sweaty and it is causing Zitney Spears to world tour on my forehead. WIN!  Get in line boys!  I'll tell you what is a plus though, THIS outfit...

Yup I know, I amaze even myself. Yes that is Donald and Daisy Duck on my jumpsuit. It also says 'disco' all over it in Mexican and it has a little holder for pens on the top pocket. Obviously.  The self photo in the mirror is a little slant face-o-rama but don't act like you don't do it. Thank you and good evening.  I wore this to the Laneway festival and THIS to Big Day Out...

The Obnoxious Owl Experience: The weeks fly by when you're having fun

I went to Sydney for four days to catch up with SJ  and meet new people...especially Sarah Jane's house mate Jess who quite frankly, is one of my new favorite people. Great Sydney folk aside, I went to catch the side show of M.I.A (amazing) Shut up SJ! (she recks the base was louder than she was) WHATEVER! Haters be hating, Maya for life. I did try and get on the stage. Twice. Only to be rudely carried away by some c word of a bouncer. FUCK I had a great night. But obviously I was gonna love M.I.A but who really blew my mind were my homies Die Antwoord - I don't need to say much more about this other than they are my fucking hero's. Stand by...because there is more exciting stuff coming at you like spit in the face from the Owl with Die Antwoord. HO$H!

FOX HUNT - A New Gentlemen's Store brought to you by Pigeonhole

Yup, William Street in Northbridge just got a 'lil more sophisticated.  I am slightly biased as it's another Pigeonhole Venture and I also did this sweet little write up for sixthousand However, it really is quite something.  You should check it out.

So I've taken up a new position in the offices of PIGEONHOLE and it's actually pretty alright. I think I'm going OK, my foul mouth and constant requests for 'Cider Friday' haven't even been met with THAT much of a negative response.  Hey man, it's not like I'm asking for 'No Pants Friday' - it's still not hot enough for that.  One of the greatest things about working for P Hole (tee hee) is our awesome coffee shop downstairs called CABIN FEVER - it's pretty increddy.  It also doubles as an art gallery, with some of Sean Morris and Creepy's  stuff currently on view. They also do these things called 'Cakey Pops' ... it's a lollypop made out of fucking cake. THEY ARE RUINING MY LIFE.

Let them ruin yours as well and come and have a cup of java.  It's in the Bon Marche Arcade on Barrack Street near the MacDonalds. That bloody MacDonalds is also involved in the quest to bring my life to it's delicate knee's.

The increddy company for which I work for PIGEONHOLE is putting on a top lip hairy exhibition tonight in conjunction with Lomo Cameras.  It's at the LOMOVEMBER gallery here in Perth.  Address is 104B Murray Street, Perth (behind Ambar) - Opening is tonight (come grab some booooooooze and look at nice pictures) then come with me and my mateys to watch Miami Horror for FREE at the Northbridge Festival.

The Owl has teamed up with another bird...

Those that follow me on twitter will be aware that I have taken up new employment, a 9 to 5 is pretty necessary for little things like say...rent.  I have been lucky enough to have been offered a job in wholesale for Pigeonhole. I start tomorrow and I'm well looking forward to nestling my beak under the feathery arm of this uber cool company.  We have 5 stores and counting here in Western Australia and we wholesale to hundreds of other companies nationally and internationally.  We opened our coffee shop 'Cabin Fever' on Friday night and stay tuned for our new menswear store opening in Northbridge in the coming weeks.

It's so refreshing to wake up in the morning and actually not want to kill yourself...who knew?!  So you can either peep PH blog for news but I intend on keeping you updated right here on O.Owl for any exciting things we'll be getting up to in the nest.

As we know, I can't say shit is good if I think it's wack.  Like, I could never ever work for somewhere that I didn't believe in...ya know?  So here's to two sexy birds coming together! Yeah thats right...I just called myself sexy....what of it?
