I am half English and spent the better half of my twenties in London. Whilst I lost my ability to tan for a short while, I gained a massive soft spot for that tiny island in Europe. I don't look up to many people for style inspiration...mainly 'cause I think they are fucking boring. I mean sure, Kate Moss always looks banging, but style icon? She wears skinny jeans and blazers. UM...how innovative. I mean FUCK she's a super model! Of course it looks 'amazing'.  There is nothing brave about her dress sense, or even memorable. I like a woman with a bit of POW...and Ms Fitz  puts the OW into the POW....

Yes a shameless plug, but I'm a bit proud of this issue because there is more of me in it! Woop!  So, I penned my usual 3 high street blurbs but I also put together (in my opinion) the Top 10 fashion flicks...yup, stylish movies.  And I totally left out the obvious.  Also, check the interview I did with Doe Deere from LIMECRIME COSMETICS - so colourful it's illegal apparently.  Well ... if a lipstick is illegal, I don't know what this fuck show of a blog is.

I'm branching out!

Soggybones Magazine have asked me to blog for them...and because I am pretty snowed under I said....yes.  Ha! Almost fooled you.  OK, I know I didn't whatevs.  'ol Justin from SB didn't have to do much arm twisting as I was super keen.  Check out my first post here and put Soggybones.com in your favourites list under 'awesome'.  I'm not even lying, it actually is pretty awesome.  Especially if you are into surfboard riding, skateboard cruising, music, art and a general dope lifestyle...I mean, who isn't these days?

Anyone for a cider?

Do you all remember the incident last year when I went to smack a fly away (damn you Australia and your fly epidemic, you lot are cursed!) thus knocking a fresh glass of Shiraz all over my very beautiful and very SWITCHED ON laptop. It coughed, it spluttered, it died. Fuck. A writer with no computer is much like a daddy long legs with all his venom and no means with which to release it on the world. In fact, it is EXACTLY like that! Do you read Obnoxious Owl? It’s WELL venomous man.

Now this show down happened in February...that’s like 1, 2, 3, 4 ... fucking 9 months with no computer! I’ve been banging out all my magazine submissions, blog posts, emails via some donkey tech computer that I’m pretty sure Noah had his excel spreadsheet on when he was counting the animals onto his ark.

The gutter is where I keep my mind...it likes it there

It always amuses me that at no matter what age you are...swear words and using different words for private parts and sex is funny, hell I've based a blog on it! So one morning after a party in East London, I was stood in the kitchen quenching my thirst and gazing at the poetic refrigerator in this magnificent share house. I smirked as I took the photos (which are a bit ropey as it was 9am and I hadn't slept yet) because these little magnetic words have been put together by adults. We just can't help ourselves! Bear in mind, many of these would have been put together at around 3am at, um peak hour. So look on...and marvel.

So I submitted my words for the latest issue literally the day after I got back from Glastonbury (there's that word again) and was, shall we say, a little worse for wear. So it's actually a God damn miracle they published them. Either YEN love me no matter what, or I'm actually that bad ass. Prolly the latter. ha ha - just buy it already.
